The 2009-2010 AFSA, AMF, and CMSAF scholarship programs were concluded in June 2009.  All applicants’ packages were ranked for academic excellence by an academic committee chaired by Professor Francis Dong.  All collegiate rankings, recommendations, and packages were then reviewed by independent AFSA, AMF, or CMSAF Scholarship Selection Committees as appropriate.  Scholarship awards will be disbursed in September 2009 to the school of choice of each recipient.

AFSA Scholars

 

The 2009-2010 AFSA, AMF, and CMSAF Scholarship Programs awarded 44 scholarships totaling $70,500. All applicants’ packages were ranked for academic excellence by an academic committee chaired by Professor Francis Dong. All collegiate rankings, recommendations, and packages were then reviewed by AFSA, AMF, or CMSAF Scholarship Committees as appropriate. Scholarships will be disbursed in September 2009 to the winner’s school of choice.

 

AFSA Scholars

The 2009-2010 AFSA Scholarship Program awarded 11 scholarships totaling $23,000 AFSA’s top scholarship went to Monica Ratliff who will attend Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

AMF Scholars

The 2009-2010 AMF Scholarship Program awarded 21 scholarships totaling $27,500. The Airmen Memorial Foundation is pleased to announce that Laura Mapes and Justin Warner are the top scholars from the 09-10 program year.  Congratulations to both Laura and Justin and best wishes on a successful scholastic career.

CMSAF Scholarships

The 2009-2010 Chief Master Sergeants of the Air Force Scholarship Program awarded 12 totaling $20,000. The top Chief Master Sergeants of the Air Force scholar is Cassy Piela who will attend college at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
